What are Maths Olympiads?

Each year, over 700,000 young people take part in the UKMT Maths Challenge. There are multiple stages before participation in the Olympiad, and the Olympiads themselves have multiple stages.
National Selection Rounds: Students participate in regional and national contests to qualify for international representation.
International Competitions: Top students from each country compete in events like the IMO, tackling challenging problems that test creativity and problem-solving skills.

What do we specialise in?
Our focus is on training students to reach their full potential in U.S.-based math and science Olympiads. This includes the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC 8, 10, and 12), the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME), and the USA Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO). We also support preparation for the Math Olympiad Summer Program (MOP) for top-performing students.

Our Olympiad tutors prepare students for all levels of the Maths Challenge, including preparation advice, mock questions, and the freedom to ask questions over email at any time with a guaranteed response within 24 hours.

Training Camps

Throughout the year, we offer training camps for groups of 5 to 20 students preparing for all levels of American math competitions. Our students range from early AMC participants to top AIME qualifiers and USAMO contenders.We’ve found that group sessions encourage collaboration, deeper exploration of problem-solving techniques, and peer-driven insights. In our advanced camps, even a single question can drive an entire session, with students presenting different approaches and debating the most elegant or efficient solutions.

Preparation Materials

We offer tailored questions, detailed marking, and constructive feedback on example solutions.

Additionally, our experience enables us to recommend alternative questions based on a student’s performance in Mock Tests. For every stage of the Maths Challenge, we provide training materials and booklets to guide students through the process. Students also have access to a repository of pre-recorded solutions for further support.

Who will teach the Classes?

We are made up of former AMC, AIME, USAMO, and IMO participants from across the United States and abroad. Each tutor is rigorously vetted for their problem-solving ability and teaching clarity during our interview process. They are selected not only for their achievements, but also for their ability to break down the techniques, logic, and structure behind the most challenging problems they’ve personally mastered.

What age groups do you work with?

We work with students at a range of abilities, from ages 11-18.

How are Olympiad sessions conducted?

We run our group classes throughout the year. All of our lessons are taught online through a platform called Lessonspace.

Do you tutor all levels of the Maths Challenge?

We do. Whether you're just starting out with AMC 8 or aiming for the USA(J)MO and beyond, we support students at every stage of the American math competition track. Our tailored guidance helps students move confidently from early rounds like AMC 8 and AMC 10 all the way to AIME and USAMO.
