With guidance from Oxbridge graduates, hands on AI project experience, and support for your TMUA, STEP, and MAT exams, we provide an opportunity to develop practical software development skills, gain a thorough understanding of Mathematics, and improve your university admissions prospects. This programme offers a balanced approach, combining theoretical knowledge with real world applications, to help you excel both academically and professionally.
Applying to the Mathematics program at the University of Oxford involves several key steps. Students first decide whether to apply to a specific college or submit an open application. They must register for and sit the Mathematics Admissions Test (MAT) and submit their UCAS application, including a personal statement and reference, by 15 October. If shortlisted, students are invited to an interview in December to discuss mathematical problems with tutors.
Our Course ensures you are best prepared for the admissions process. Whether it is identifying the applicants weaknesses through 1-1 mock interviews, or understanding techniques to ace the MAT, our course covers the tried and tested preparation you need to convert your chances of success.
Next Course Start Date: July 2025
Designed for students preparing for 2025/6 Oxford Mathematics admissions, this intensive course provides fast-paced, structured lessons to cover all topics in the MAT syllabus. Students will also participate in mock interviews conducted by three separate Oxford Mathematics students, using our database of real previous interview questions. Additionally, students will receive feedback on their personal statements, which they may submit twice for evaluation. Where appropriate, we provide additional reading and extension materials to demonstrate your ability to engage deeply with topics from your personal statement.

Next Course Start Date: July 2025
Designed for students preparing for applications in 2025/2026, this comprehensive course offers a structured, more detailed approach compared to the 5-week intensive programme. Over three months, students will explore one topic in the MAT syllabus per week, allowing ample time to practise problem-solving, develop a deeper understanding of concepts, and seek tailored guidance from their tutor throughout the week.
This programme includes mock tests, live paper walkthroughs, and 3 additional one-on-one lessons to help students address specific areas of weakness. All participants will be taught the MAT syllabus from first principles, ensuring a solid foundation and the ability to confidently tackle the most challenging questions. Additionally, students will undergo 5 personalised mock interviews, conducted by experienced Oxford Mathematics students, using a curated database of real past interview questions.
We also provide personalised feedback on personal statements, which students may submit for unlimited review and refinement. To further demonstrate academic initiative, we supply additional reading and extension materials that align with the topics mentioned in the student’s personal statement, showcasing their enthusiasm and readiness to engage with mathematical concepts at an advanced level.

The MAT paper represents a significant step up from the A-Level Mathematics curriculum. It tests not only a student's mathematical knowledge but also their ability to apply concepts creatively under time pressure. However, we firmly believe that, with a structured learning approach, a solid grasp of the tricks and techniques required, and, most importantly, a strong commitment from the student, mastering this challenging exam is entirely achievable.
Our courses are designed with depth and focus. We know the MAT inside out, from its structure to exam techniques, to the nuances of approaching multiple-choice versus fully written questions. Some of our tutors are former MAT examiners, bringing invaluable insight into what the examiners look for and how students can tailor their approach to maximise marks.
Our group classes are intentionally kept small, with no more than five students per session. This ensures an interactive learning environment where each student receives personalised attention. The small group dynamic fosters engagement, allowing students to ask questions freely and gain deeper insights into challenging topics. From our experience, students remain in contact after the course has ended, this provides a support network ahead of the paper.
We ensure every topic in the syllabus is covered comprehensively, including:
Our extensive experience means we understand the types of questions that students often struggle with. We are also familiar with the mathematical skills that each question is designed to test. This allows us to direct our teaching towards highlighting techniques and strategies to help students approach questions confidently. By relating new questions to similar problems covered during the course, we ensure that students develop a clear and methodical approach to tackling unfamiliar scenarios.
We dedicate time to explaining the key differences between the multiple-choice and fully written sections, showing students how to optimise their time and present clear, logical solutions to earn maximum marks. Additionally, our tutors provide tips on recognising the "tricks" built into the questions and how to avoid common traps.
Some of our tutors have experience as former MAT examiners. Their insider knowledge helps students understand how the exam is marked, the level of rigour expected in their answers, and the subtle cues that can distinguish an average response from an excellent one. This expertise allows us to train students to meet, and exceed, the standards of the MAT.
Our course doesn’t just teach students the syllabus, it equips them with the mindset and confidence to approach the exam like a seasoned mathematician. From mastering foundational topics to fine-tuning their ability to solve complex, non-routine problems, students leave the course prepared to excel.
Designed for ambitious students exploring the intersection of AI and advanced mathematics, this 10-day programme is ideal for those considering STEM degrees at top universities. On completion of the course, you will learn:
Students will build real machine learning models, work with live data, and gain exposure to concepts like neural networks, reinforcement learning, and LLMs while strengthening their mathematical thinking and preparing for admissions tests like TMUA, MAT, and STEP. The course combines daily coding labs with academic maths sessions, interview preparation, and a team-based Hackathon.
Our AI & Mathematics course offers an immersive introduction to the fast-evolving world of artificial intelligence combined with high-level mathematical reasoning. Taught by a team of Oxford graduates, this course covers the theory behind neural networks, reinforcement learning, and large language models, alongside practical programming experience using Python and real-world datasets.
Each morning, students tackle university-style mathematical problems to sharpen their logical thinking and proof skills. The afternoons are dedicated to hands-on AI projects, building, testing, and optimising their own models. Throughout the course, we emphasise collaboration and curiosity, preparing students not just for exams, but for future studies and careers in tech and science.
We recognise that students join us with different levels of experience. Some may already be fluent in Python, while others are new to coding. Similarly, mathematical exposure varies across schools. That’s why we design our course to be flexible and supportive. Coding tasks are scaffolded, with optional challenges for more advanced students, and our maths sessions include guided problem-solving tailored to stretch each student. During the Hackathon, students take on different roles in their team, allowing them to contribute meaningfully whether they lean more toward maths, coding, or research.
Our curriculum covers a wide range of technical and academic content, including:
All instructors on this programme have backgrounds in mathematics, computer science, or engineering from Oxford & Cambridge. Many have direct experience with AI research, software engineering, and top-tier academic preparation.
Our tutors are selected not only for their technical expertise but for their ability to explain complex topics clearly and intuitively. Whether it’s helping students debug a model or understand the epsilon-delta definition of convergence, our team is there to challenge, support, and inspire.
From modelling growth with differential equations to using linear algebra in word embeddings, every concept we teach begins with mathematics. This isn’t just about building AI models, it’s about teaching the versatility of Mathematics and its applications.
