Tutors undergo a thorough application process, followed by an in-depth interview with the founders, where their commitment, experience, expertise and availability are assessed. They are also asked to deliver a teaching demonstration on a topic of our choice, where we evaluate their ability to communicate both conceptual ideas and methodical approaches. We prioritise tutors who share a genuine enthusiasm for the subject and align with our values.

After the first session, our tutors provide parents with an overview of the lesson and outline a plan for future progress. This comprehensive session breaks down the exam into its core components: Reading, Writing and Language, and Math and explains the foundational concepts behind each. For example, students will learn how to approach SAT reading passages by identifying main ideas, understanding tone, and answering evidence-based questions.
